Network and Connect

Even better than an in-person expo, we're hosting a virtual expo for all attendees!

Join the speakers, sponsors, and other attendees for a great networking (and optional gaming) experience.

It's easy to navigate, less stressful than in person events.

You can turn your camera off or run away in a go-kart at any time, but you won't need to because everyone is there to have a great time and fun conversations!

Conference for the Community

The GameDevGuild Conference 2022 is specifically tailored towards the Game Development Community. We strongly believe that the community always knows best. This is why we chose to include a community of 200.000+ game developers in the process of selecting topics and speakers to ensure the most relevant topics that YOU want to hear. Dive into this years GameDevGuild Conference, meet new developers, and level up your Game Development skills.

Actionable

You'll take back useful information and tips that you can use implement immediately in your projects. Every talk will have a wide appeal and be something you can use today.

For Unity Developers

While a few sessions will apply to all gamedevs, the majority of the content is aimed at Unity developers. We'll discuss what's new in Unity, systems you should be using (and how). As well as new tips and techniques from leading experts and Unity themselves.
If you're looking for a conference focused on Unity developers, this is the one for you!

Indie

Most of us don't have a full team of 100 developers, a giant art team, or large scale business issues we're dealing with. We're focused on smaller indie devs, the ones who have to add art themselves sometimes because the artist is busy (or doesn't exist). With that in mind, the topics are all intentionally actionable by small teams or even solo developers.

I want you to leave each session thinking 'wow that will come in useful!'

Best Practices

Learn the tricks and practices many of the speakers used to release successful indie games on their own (some even in their spare time).

Meet Your Host

Jason Weimann

GAME DEVELOPER | TEACHER | OLD GUY ON YOUTUBE

I'm Jason and I've been working on video games for a long time now. It was always my dream to make games growing up. And I've been lucky enough to follow that dream and build games at a variety of studios over the years.

I started my game dev career working on MMORPGs like Everquest II and Vanguard at Sony. It was a dream come true and perfect opportunity to learn game development in the trenches from the experts. When the iPhone came out, I dove into mobile development, releasing games on the first one using good old Unity 3. Then when VR came back around I dove into that as well, releasing one of the VIVE launch titles on Steam, followed by many more.

Now I spend most of my time focused on teaching other developers and helping them finish projects and accomplish their goals (while building my own stuff on the side of course).

With over 20 years of experience in the field, I've experienced all different aspects to game development, and have run into every problem a developer might face along the way of creating a game. I am determined to spread the word about game development and grow this amazing community that is only getting bigger everyday.

No Questions Asked.

How do I register as a team?

If you are registering access for more than one person -- select the number of team members from the product ticket page i.e. the next page from here.

For eg. If your group has 2 members choose a quantity of 2. If it has 5 choose a quantity of 5 and so forth.

The ticket/lifetime access price is per attendee.

Also, registering as a team of 5 (or more) people qualifies for a discount (auto applied at checkout).

For more details, please refer payment info above.

How should I approach my company to pay (or reimburse) for my ticket?

If your company has an education budget for employees...Or you just want to put forth a value proposition for GameDevGuild 2022 in front of your manager, this might help:

>>> Google Doc (Email Template)

All you need to do is make a copy of this document. And then simply edit the email template to suit your needs.

Do you offer any payment plans?

Lifetime access to all video training + Q&A sessions, transcripts & resources, and joining our Discord community can only be unlocked for a one-time investment of $297 for the pro (and $97 for students).

I understand the amounts carry a different weight for testers from various countries and financial situations.

That’s why I suggest looking at this as an investment in yourself...and evaluate it from an ROI point of view.

Q#1: Would getting lifetime access to practical and real-world knowledge of the world's top game dev experts - help you get a higher salary and open up more (and better) opportunities?

Q#2: Would 24/7 access to 1000's of skilled game devs help you get quick solutions, avoid mistakes, save a ton of time, and enable you to reach your goals faster?

Q#3: Simply put...would it give you back way more than your investment in GDG 2022 - just like it has for all the testers in our community?

Asking yourself the above 3 questions will help you make the best decision for your current situation.

Besides...

I don’t want you worrying about losing your investment…

That’s why I also offer an
unconditional 180-day "Love it or Leave it" 100% money-back guarantee.

And honestly, I don’t know of any other online conference in the world that gives 100% of the investment back.

The Pro Pass is out of my price range, do I qualify for the student pass?

Yes!

You will however miss out on all the awesome bonuses that are about to be dropped on pro ticket holders :)
